Owing to her passion for film, she co-founded the AMBI group (a business specialising in cinematography located in Europe) in 2013. Monika Bacardi (la) is involved in many charitable organisations, owing to her love of philanthropy. Her co-purchase of 'PHOTO' Magazine in 2014 furthered Monika Bacardi's involvement in the arts sector.
Monika Bacardi endeavors to build up services around her 'PHOTO' brand name for photographers and artists, offering vocational management whilst making relationships with global purchasers. Several years ago Lady Bacardi purchased the highly-recognised 'PHOTO' magazine, which has been operational since 1967. Between eight and ten films are finished every 12 months, covering anything from internal to third-party productions. Monika Bacardi achieves this by means of the AMBI Group.
Lord Luis Bacardi (Lord of Bayfield Hall) was a descendant of the creator of the Bacardi Company. He and Monika Bacardi became husband and wife and had a little girl together. She thinks that one should endeavour to work with a smile and should try to stay buoyant. Her work plays a huge role in her personal life because she loves it so much. Monika Bacardi likes to voice her intense sensitivity to environmental and social issues in many areas of her life.
Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research is a cancer-related charity that Monika Bacardi champions, as well as Fondation AVEC and Ecoute Cancer Réconfort. Mission Enfance, which provides learning help to needy children, is a charity in which she passionately believes. Monika Bacardi also encourages the well-being of infants through AMADE-Monaco (Association Nationale Monégasque des Amis de l'Enfance). She assists to raise funding for causes related to social matters of importance to her by supporting lots of local charitable bodies.
Monika's Passions: Art and 7th Art
One of the reasons she created AMBI Pictures is that she wanted to encourage young filmmakers, on account of her strong interest in "The Seventh Art" (Cinema). Monika Bacardi is an ardent supporter of Amis de l'Opera, which has assisted l'Opera de Monte Carlo for more than thirty years. AMBI Pictures is operated with the purpose of creating films for a global audience, thus promoting the art globally.
A wide array of projects benefiting the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation have been participated in by Monika Bacardi. Lady Bacardi's humanitarian interests are countless, but a special area in which she is proactive is ecological-sustainability. Safeguarding our habitat and encouraging maintainable advancement worldwide are the foremost goals of the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation. Monika Bacardi is a member of the H.S.H. Prince Albert II Foundation and is very much involved in other cultural and humanitarian pursuits in the Principality of Monaco.
